Undocumented Students

DU is committed to minimizing听any obstacles students may face. While undocumented students have limited eligibility for financial aid, and are not eligible for any federal aid such as the Pell grant and federal student loans, we're pleased to be able to offer certain types of funding from the 黑料门.

Institutional Aid

As with all students accepted to DU, we consider undocumented and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students for up $33,000 per year in merit scholarships. Students awarded a merit scholarship (with the exception of the Rocky Mountain scholarship) are also automatically awarded a $3,000 Residence Hall Grant. Talent scholarships are awarded based on achievements in athletics, music, theater, speech and art.

Additionally, DACA and undocumented students may be eligible for the DU Educational Grant. Because this grant is need-based, you must submit the to be considered. Please contact our office if you submitted the CSS Profile and wish to be considered for need-based aid.

Undocumented and DACA students may also be eligible for certain gift and endowed scholarships offered to current students by academic departments. To be considered for one of these awards, you must submit the Departmental Scholarship Application, which opens in February each year.
