Space Management Services
We manage the Indoor Spaces of the university to make sure they are well allocated and accounted for in terms of space and occupation. A team of three working strong to digitize all indoors and in turn fueling that information to the upcoming Indoor Navigation Project intended to guide our clients from point A to point B just like google maps but within the buildings.
DU Indoors
Discover our interactive virtual environment of the University Buildings, Spaces & People using the new DU Indoors App. This tool helps us have awareness of our space and utilize it efficiently. The university community can then view and modify offices to make them current and know the exact location of offices within the building. As this is a new application, please refer to the user manual here.
Project To Map The Shutoff Valves
Shut off Valves are critical during emergencies in order to reduce damage to DU assets. These valves can be of electric, gas, water or other utilities which need to be mapped and documented. This project comprises of creating an efficient way of visualizing these entities and making them available at the campus safety team who in turn can guide the ground men to access and shut them off during an emergency.
DU in 3D
DU 3D is another ambitious project that the Space Management Team is leading. To be able to view all DU buildings in a 3D environment has been in the thoughts ever since but now taking shape into reality. All the DU owned structures had to be modelled using Revit Software and imported into ArcGIS Online as a Scene Layer to be viewed in 3D on the map.听
