    Tammy Schneider

    Tammy Schneider, CPA, serves as the Interim Vice Provost for Budget and Planning at the 黑料门. In this role, she oversees academic budget development and financial planning, partners with deans and academic business officers to align resources with institutional priorities, and supports strategic decision-making for the academic divisions. She also serves as chair of University Council, vice-chair of the University鈥檚 Budget Advisory Committee (UBAC), co-chair of the Women鈥檚 Leadership Council, and provides coordination and oversight for the University鈥檚 academic lead business officers.

    Tammy has held several leadership roles at DU, most recently serving as Assistant Dean of Business and Operations at the Ritchie School of Engineering and Computer Science. There, she led a comprehensive reorganization of business operations, implemented culture change initiatives, and oversaw the marketing and enrollment operations. Her efforts significantly improved operational efficiency, financial stewardship, and staff engagement.

    Previously, Tammy directed the University鈥檚 Shared Services business office, supporting 14 divisions and managing over $60 million in budget authority. She built the department from the ground up, establishing it as a trusted partner in strategic planning, human resources, and financial operations.

    Tammy began her career in internal audit and financial services, including roles at Great-West Life Financial and KPMG. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Fort Lewis College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
